You are a patient man Marcus.

I have read Rintu's book and had updates from his newletter. The information and patterns that he presents are valuable but the delivery of that information almost always leaves me wondering if I would enjoy speaking with this person.

I have also begun receiving your newletter. I must say that your teaching is intuitive and elegant, and always left me wanting to enjoy having a chat with you. I recently decided try to some of your charisma and conversation techniques, and as a result, I have had some of the most interesting conversations with a whole range of absolutely wonderful and fascinating people. Thank you Marcus. I think that you are a perfect example illustrating that effective communication is SO MUCH MORE than the words or patterns used in that communication.

Hey Marcus! Quick update: here’s some more recent random adventures I’ve experienced thanks to watching this video and saying ‘yes’ to stuff!

* Third price in a beauty competition (US$ 75)
* 2 University credit points for speaking 20 seconds
* Dates
* Meditation sessions with the strangest guru ever (he jumps during meditation)
* Networking with some millioneers – one of them even invited me to join his business (unfortunately, his business sucks)
* Met hundreds of new people
* Made loads of new friends
* Attended a three-day conference
* Eaten lots of awesome food en mass (often for free!)
* Got free thaiboxing lessons for the next half year
* And much, much more!

Thank you very much for these episodes and the rest of it. I am yet to finish your ebook and your video episodes, but loving them already.

Found out about your work from the 21 Convention and your speech on the convention really compliments on your work here.

I am becoming a better person as I'm sharing love and appreciation here with you and everyone.

So again, thanks!

@Matt You're right the best thing to do is walk up in a cheerful manner. Be honest if you don't know anybody and introduce yourself to them (swap names). Another strategy is to talk to one person at a time while they're away from the group (for example, getting a drink in the kitchen). By the time you talk to their table you'll have already won over a few of the them and the rest should follow!

@Zaan The point of the exercise is to be happy with other people's judgments levelled against you. Whenever you step out of the shadows of invisibility, some people will see you as a weirdo and other people will smile and laugh. The key thing is that you act free and not in a cage that society makes for you. You're going to be judged no matter what you do in life; so you may as well have a grin on your face as you filter out the people who would otherwise bring you down! ^_^
